I was sadly reading through this list, thinking, I am so old. I've never even heard of any of these bands. I perked up when I got to Peggy Honeywell, because although I do not know that song, I do know the girl! Hurrah! Not so unhip after all.

In Sydney last week, I was in a sticky, stuffy internet facility and there was a bloke next to me downloading music. I was THIS CLOSE to asking, "Young man, can you direct me to your illegal music downloading site?" because I have a piddling iPod shuffle with nothing on it (brand-new Christmas gift), I'm nearly thirty-five years old, and I can remember life before the internet. But I did not.

Instead, I'll read your playlists as a dissociative-sort of poetry and hope that another friend or friend's band turns up.
